The Myanmar-Italy Friendship Giuseppe Malpeli Association donated non-contact infrared thermometers

With the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic unfolding around the world, via facilitation and coordination of The Union Enterprise for Humanitarian Assistance, Resettlement and Development (UEHRD), The Myanmar-Italy Friendship Giuseppe Malpeli Association donated non-contact infrared thermometers (600,000 Kyats) to help children living in the Temporary Displacement Camps in Rakhine. The Head Monk of Shwe Zeddy Monastery in Sittwe, Rakhine from Ashin Ottama Foundation received the donations and will distribute youths from 10 Temporary Displacement Camps respectively after training on use and maintenance of the device by a well experienced doctor. So far, Myanmar has reported 181 COVID-19 confirmed cases with six deaths as of Thursday 14 May 2020
